Methexiology

Methexiology is not a particular theory, but rather a general philosophical orientation. Therefore, in Methexiology: Philosophical Theology and Theological Philosophy for the Deification of Humanity, Nicolas Laos elucidates the significance of methexiology for the study of ontology, epistemology, ethics, philosophical psychology, theory of justice, philosophy of history, and philosophy of religion. Laos argues that, faced with the modern and the postmodern crises of meaning, we need a new myth, a new spiritual formula, for the resacralization of humanity and the cosmos, without restoring defunct totems, without using tales as "cheap" substitutes for the lack of a life-giving myth, and without negating history. In his Methexiology, Laos studies the "genealogy" of the modern and the postmodern crises of meaning, and, based on his new interpretation of classical Greek philosophy and Hesychasm, proposes methexiology as a way of overcoming the crises of meaning and as a way of resacralizing humanity and the cosmos through a new metaphysically grounded humanism.

Freemasons, World Order, and Mind Wars

Many have speculated on the role played by Freemasons in launching the French and American Revolutions, and in today's Bohemian Grove and other secretive forums where world events seem to be shaped. This book presents the history of Freemasonry in a philosophically rigorous and eloquent way and proposes a new philosophically significant and historically meaningful Freemasonic path. Along the way, the author casts light on important, little understood aspects of world history, presenting an enlightening narrative of world events.Dr. Nicolas Laos is the Founder and President of the autonomous, international Freemasonic and scholarly fraternity United Traditionalist Grand Sanctuaries of the Ancient and Primitive Rite Memphis-Misraim. He names many of the prominent men who have been members over the centuries, and provides a history of Freemasonry, and discusses how the movement spread, how it relates to religion, international affairs and world history, and the symbolism used.

Not Fit for Our Society

"Peter Schrag is the model for all political writers. He is committed, passionate, and eloquent, but always stays harnessed to the facts and rooted in the realities of politics and human nature. He reports out everything, and he writes like a dream. We can be grateful that in Not Fit for Our Society he has turned his gifts to the seemingly intractable problem of immigration. We will have to settle this issue again, as we always manage to do despite enormous commotion and anxiety. Schrag will force everyone to think more clearly and to approach immigration with both compassion and good sense."_EJ Dionne, Jr., author of Souled Out "Just who is fit to be part of the society that became a nation...
